Takehouse

A song workstation that runs entirely on your own PC.

Describe a song and get a produced track with vocals. Then keep working on it: redo a section with new words, extend it, restyle it. Every take is kept, and any of them can be made again exactly.

Coming to the Microsoft StoreWindows 10 or 11 with an NVIDIA graphics card. Requirements

The song workspace: a folk song's sections (verses, choruses, a bridge) on a timeline under its waveform. The second verse is selected, with three versions stacked under it and the second one picked, and the redo panel beside it.

The generated song is the start of the work

Most AI music tools are slot machines: if one part is wrong, you roll the whole song again. In Takehouse the first render is a draft you keep shaping. Fix one line in the second verse, sing the chorus again, add a minute at the end, and the rest of the song stays exactly as it was.

What you can do

Redo a section with new words

Pick a section, type new lines, and Takehouse sings just that part again. Or keep the words and ask for a new performance of them. Everything outside the section stays the same, sample for sample: Takehouse checks it before it keeps the result.

Redoing the second verse of a ballad: the section is selected, four new lines are typed in its words box, and the redo panel shows Sing new words here, rendered on Full.

Versions and comping

Every redo becomes a version, stacked under its section. Choose the best version of each section and the song plays them together straight away, with no new render. When it sounds right, save the mix as a take of its own.

The song workspace in the light theme: the second verse's version stack, with the new-words version picked and the mix ready to save as a take.

See the plan before it plays

Before a song is rendered, Takehouse shows its plan: tempo, key, time signature and the planner's wording of your style, with anything it dropped or added. Change what you like and plan again. A quiet Style check under the style box points out words the music model may not know; it never rewrites your words.

Plan review: the style that was asked for beside the planner's version of it, a note that the planner added a choir, the planned tempo, key and time signature, and the Style check note under the style box.

Extend, restyle, export

Add up to a minute before or after a song, with new lines at the end if you like; the original part is kept exactly. Restyle a song or an imported recording in a new style. Export WAV (16, 24 or 32-bit float) or MP3, at streaming loudness, peak level, or untouched.

The Export dialog: WAV at 24-bit, streaming loudness of −14 LUFS with the true peak kept at or below −1 dBTP, and the file it will save.

Made on your PC, kept on your PC

  • The music is made here. The AI models that plan the song, play it and sing it run on your own graphics card. No account, no subscription, no upload.
  • Every take is a recipe. Takehouse saves everything that went into a take, so Reproduce makes the identical take again, byte for byte.
  • Your lyrics, your way. Type or paste your own words (Takehouse tidies the formatting), or have an online AI service you choose write them, with your own key.
  • Songs up to 10 minutes, in English, Spanish, French or Japanese, with up to four variations at a time.

How your data is handled

Two editions

Both include everything they need to make songs: the models are inside the app, so nothing has to be downloaded to make music. They have the same features.
